Rex Bushman graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas in 1975. From there he was accepted to and attended law school at the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. Rex graduated from law school and passed the Utah State Bar exam in 1978. Rex has practiced law in the state of Utah since that time.
During the course of his legal career, Rex has practiced law most significantly in areas of litigation, where his in court experience in pleadings and appearances has developed to a highly technical degree.
Areas of his practice include divorce and custody primarily. Rex also does civil litigation in contract and real property disputes, malpractice, auto accidents, other personal injuries, estate planning and criminal defense.
Rex has been published twice in the Utah State Bar Journal and has represented clientele from a wide area of backgrounds. He taught for a time with the Washington Institute of Graduate Studies classes for attorneys working on masters degrees while pursuing his legal practice.
Rex’s outside interests have helped him to become a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and he has toured throughout the world as a singer in that group. Rex has sold CD’s of music with the local Deseret Book Store and Seagull Book Stores. Presently Rex has on sale at the BYU Bookstore two true to life books on behavioral sciences. Rex is a father of five children that live in the area.
